The NEEDS pantry is hosted by Kenwood Baptist Church. Recently, volunteers from the church teamed up to provide an amazing service for the pantry: a much-needed deep cleaning! Our pantry coordinators shared this letter of appreciation:

“Thank you so much for including NEEDS in your service day last Saturday. The team of folks (Chelsea, Maria, Jon, and kids) did a GREAT job of deep-cleaning the pantry. It’s always challenging to find time to do this in our busy pantry schedule.”

The team emptied and cleaned refrigerators and freezers. They cleaned and scrubbed our tables with Mr. Clean Eraser pads…I’ve never seen them so white! They did the same with all of our carts and tubs and they helped reorganize the cereal. Then came the biggest job…they moved EVERYTHING off the floors (boxes, carts, tubs, containers) and then vacuumed and mopped the floors. The pantry hasn’t been this clean since the day we moved in almost a year ago.

Kenwood Baptist has been an amazing partner in our shared ministry of serving others for many years. We can’t thank you enough for all you do to support us by providing space, utilities, services, on-going donations, and support. We could not serve the families who made 2300 visits to our pantry last year without you.
