Thank You, All Saints Service Blitz Team!

All Saints Catholic Church recently held a Service Blitz Day, completing projects for eight local nonprofits — including NEEDS! Volunteers worked hard to give the pantry a much-needed deep cleaning.

Pantry coordinator Janie shared this note to the team:

“Thank you, thank you, thank you once again for including NEEDS in your Service Blitz Day this year. We really look forward to this event, as it gives us the opportunity to get some help with a deep cleaning of our pantry. Your wonderful team of eight did such a great job of cleaning our refrigerators and freezers by carefully taking everything out, wiping down the shelves, and putting it all back in. They then did a thorough mopping of the floors. The pantry is SPOTLESS!!

The All Saints congregation does so much for the NEEDS pantry with your regular bi-monthly donations and financial support. This service event is a great way to get additional help from your volunteers and to introduce them to our pantry. We love having families participate with their children. It’s important to instill the love of service at such a young age. Please know that you all have played a critical role in helping us serve over 2000 families last year. The NEEDS volunteers and all the neighbors we serve thank you!”
