Would you like to make a difference in our community? Volunteering with NEEDS is a great way to help!
NEEDS is currently seeking volunteers for three roles:
1. Pantry volunteer: This person is responsible for filling client orders. A volunteer is needed for the first Thursday of the month and the second Thursday of the month.
2. Desk volunteer: This person is responsible for registering new families and signing in returning families. A volunteer is needed for the first Tuesday of the month. This role requires computer work; training and ongoing support are provided.
3. Financial volunteer: This person is responsible for helping families who are facing eviction and/or disconnection of utilities. A volunteer is needed for the fourth Tuesday of the month. This role also requires computer work; training and ongoing support are provided.
NEEDS asks volunteers for a commitment of one day per month. (Other volunteers are willing to switch or substitute in case of illness, vacations, etc.).

NEEDS is holding our annual Student Assistance Drive!
Students in the Deer Park, Sycamore, Princeton, and Silverton districts have returned to school – but many families in these districts cannot afford school supplies or other essentials. NEEDS is seeking gift cards and monetary donations to help these families. Gift cards and funds give school administrators flexibility to assist students with a variety of needs throughout the year, from school supplies and transportation to food and warm clothing. You can help!
What to donate: – Gift cards from stores such as Walmart, Target, and Kroger ($25 cards work best, but all denominations are appreciated!) – Visa and Mastercard gift cards – Shell gas cards (many families live in areas where busing is not available) – Check (marked for Student Assistance Drive)
